Disco Pusher
As songwriters, producers, remixers and recording artists, few can rival the creative output of New York's Disco Pusher. Feverishly working under that nom de sound, the partnership of David Sisko and David Aaron Greenberg has built a staggering canon of songcraft, including remixes for pop icons (Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani), hip-hop's elite (Lil Jon & Too $hort) and up-and-comers of every variety (Cut Copy, The Bravery, Santigold, Editors, The Scissor Sisters). Couple those accomplishments with the duo's songwriting and production credits for the likes of Kelly Clarkson and Au Revoir Simone, plus a promising future as recording artists in their own right -- as evidenced by its remarkable, memorable digital EP Trouble--and it’s safe to say that Disco Pusher is an unstoppable musical force. Consider that Sisko and Greenberg have also extended their sonic reach into film ("Saved"), television (The Discovery Channel, Showtime) and advertisements (IBM, Pepsi-Cola) while sustaining reputable, respective backgrounds in sound design and New York's poetry and art worlds, and it becomes difficult to fathom when or if the duo finds time for sleep.
