KILLCODE

KILLCODE is a five-piece American based rock band that hails from New York City. Their unique sound and style has been described as Southern infused rRock/ Metal with modern day vocals The songs are hooky super charged anthems with big guitars and driving rhythms that pumps a shot of adrenaline into your system the moment you hear them.

Founded by vocalist / frontman Tom Morrissey and guitarist Chas, the two laid down the foundation of the band with a couple of tracks they recorded at their home studio. After listening back, they knew they were on to something big! Next up would be recruiting long time musical companion Eric Bonesmith on bass guitar and Rob Noxious on the drums to complete their rhythm section. Eventually second guitarist DC Gonzalez was added to the lineup. DC, known as lead guitarist for the rock band Panzie, has proven to more than just fit in, his style reinvigorated the band.

In early 2020 the band saw the addition of bass player Bobby Flores replacing Bonesmith and soon after Covid struck.  Making the most of the downtime the band once again teamed up with producer Joey Z recording “Life, Death, Rock N’ Roll”. While the world was clawing to get back to a sense of normalcy, they played live stream concerts to continue their passion of performing and soon after partnered with NYC born, LA based record label Mother West and put a plan in place to release the album worldwide.

“Life, Death, Rock N’ Roll” is an album made up of songs about life's ups and downs, the hang and the hangover and how we deal with it all. The joys, struggles and loss that we all live through and that the band personally dealt with while writing and recording this album. The songs range from high energy rockers and brooding hard rock, to introspective personal songs.  Most of the songs were recorded during a time when most people in the world were scrambling to find a sense of normalcy and the album reflects how we all can overcome this and come back stronger than ever.

To date, the band has released two EPs including To Die For (2009), Taking it All (2010) and the self-titled full length KILLCODE (2012) and the full-length Joey Z produced The Answer (2018). The releases charted nationally and gained the band critical acclaim worldwide with a #2 position on Billboard's Mid-Atlantic Heatseekers Charts

With all members coming from other established projects the band quickly raised eyebrows and landed on bills with the likes of Godsmack & Sevendust and provided main support to Brett Scallions on the Re Fueled East Coast tour.  Soon after they began to headline and sellout prominent marquee venues including New York City's Irving Plaza, Gramercy Theater and Bowery Ballroom, as well as landing support slots across the tristate area at Roseland Ballroom, Sony Playstation Theater, Dunkin Donuts Arena and Gillette Stadium as well as The Viper Room in Los Angeles.

With international agency partner Coallier Entertainment booking the the band overseas they’ve extended their reach by performing at prestigious festivals around the globe such as Guitare En Scene in France, Bang Your Head in Germany, Hell & Heaven Festival and Corona Northside Festival in Mexico, The Riverside Auarburg Festival in Switzerland, Rockfest Barcelona in Spain, and Hair Metal Heaven and Hard Rock Hell Festivals in the UK, as well as club dates in Puerto Rico, and direct support for Twisted Sister’s Dee Snider and his solo band in the US.

The band has had some film and tv placements with the song "Breaking Away," being featured in the inspirational documentary “Dressed”', directed by David Swajeski and starring fashion designer Nari Manivong, the song “Skitch” used in the ABC show The Rookie and the track "6am Again" featured on The Howard Stern Show.

With the release of the new album and the world back to the new normal, KILLCODE aren't showing any signs of slowing down and are ready and able to take their rightful place alongside the biggest rock acts out there.
