Supercel

Alt/Pop band from Brooklyn/NYC/LI formed by Singer/songwriter Paul Casanova, whose song contribution with his former group PLEASE "Here it comes again" to the Platinum selling Empire records soundtrack on A&M produced  and produced by Talking Head Jerri Harrison earned them an RIAA Record.  Paul has also toured internationally as guitarist for Reigning Queen of Disco Gloria "I will Survive" Gaynor and also with singer-songwriter Kris Gruen who's as talented as his dad, storied rock  photographer Bob Gruen. 

Supercel was formed as an organic offshoot of The Rock Underground Music School in Bellmore, Long Island where Paul is owner and Music Director. The band is made up of Paul on Songs/vocals/Guitar, and current students and teachers of the school:  Bass: Amaya Cigliano,  Guitar: Tom Stoerger  Drums: Anthony Sabino  and Keyboards: Sean Gaffney. 

Supercel  has among other work, placed the song "High Water" in a Robert Rodriguez produced indie film project and screened at SxSW. They won first Prize for best music video  with their  entry, "Glory Nights"  (unreleased)    in several Long Island Film festivals.
